INTERACTIE SCULPTURE, THE HILL PRIMARY SCHOOL
(2004 - 2005)

I was commissioned by Creative Partnerships Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and the instuttion The Art House, to create a wooden labyrinth temporary public sculpture, one of the conditions of the commission was that the sculpture had to include elements of the school curricula and had to involve schools from the area. A school asked to have the sculpture installed in their campus, instead I proposed to give the panels the sculpture was made of the school children and ask them to design their own sculptures, the result was a sculpture park composed of about 10 sculptures that were installed in the court of the school. The work was dedicated to David Willams who was director of the school at that time and who was a big supporter of the project.
