BAJADA DE BAÑOS

Work that makes references to a traditional location in Lima that was the main path to the beach and symbol of the middle class culture of that city in the mid XX century, now changed by migration. The word baño in Spanish means toilet and to take a bath in the sea, by combining both meanings the work comments on the sometimes ridiculous ways in which Lima's traditional social structures strive to survive in a changing world. This work was exhibited at the International Art Fair in Caracas, Venezuela.
