MENHIRS

2001 & 2008
Using the brick as a symbol of civilization I have created menhirs that evoque their ancestral monument bridging past, present and future sepeaking to the collective universal human kind memory. I have buit two menhirs, one in Montemor o Novo Portugal as part of the Symposium Habitar organized by Oficinas do Convento in 2001 and another one at the APEX Park in Busan for the Busan Biennial 2008. Both are installed permanently.
